Taunton is at the foothills of Quantocks with red deer and wonderful scenery and Hestercombe House is a short drive away. We are a walk away from the Bridgwater Canal and Boating Centre.

Full Aga cooked hearty English breakfasts are served using our farms freshly laid free range eggs, bacon and sausages. (if unavailable will be sourced locally), mushrooms, tomatoes.
Smoked salmon and scrabbled eggs option.
Homemade preserves, garden fruit in season and locally produced yoghurt “when available” and full range of cereals and fruit .

Rooms
Cot or put me up bed for a child can be put in double room on request at cost of £10 night.
Bedlinen is quality Egyptian cotton and plenty of fluffy towels and towelling robes.
Complimentary tea and coffee tray and biscuits , also Sherry in each room together with flat screen Freeview TV and free Wifi.
Pet Friendly
We are pet friendly and we have a resident Border Terrier Stanley. Well behaved dogs can stay at a a cost of £5 per night paid on arrival.
Local Attractions
Feel free to walk around the farm and see the animals and milking.
. Dogs love the lane past Cames Mead which goes to edge of North Curry.

You can walk to North Curry village centre off road on footpath through the fields where you will find The Bird in Hand Pub , Village Coffee shop and also Post Office and A Beautiful large Norman Church. If you are lucky on the moors you can see otters and kingfishers.

Willow Walk
Enjoy some or all of the 8 mile circular Willow Walk that runs through the farm, and a Cafe and restaurant and assorted shops
Fishing
Go Fishing in the River Tone that also runs through our pastures good coarse fishing and odd salmon
Bird Reserves
Visit one of the 2 RSPB bird reserves on our doorstep, see winter wading birds, flocks of geese and local swans.
Wild Life
Indeed the Somerset Levels are an Internationally recognised wildlife site with Ramsar and SSSI status..
Location
Our B&B is half an hour from both coasts of Somerset, Lyme Regis, Jurassic Coast, Dunster Beach and Minehead, Burnham,West Somerset Railway.
10 minutes away is Hestercombe House and its wonderful gardens and lakes. Also the wealth of National Trust properties in Somerset are a short distance away, Barrington Court, Montecute, Lytes Cary etc.
Local Willow courses in willow and Wetlands centre 500 yds away, also local Upholstery Fascinator, Glass blowing and Floristry workshops.
